Boost solenoid
Hi guys,
I have a 94 l reg scooby wrx wagon, the problem i have is, the boost solenoid on the drivers wing has 3 connections, 1 t the turbo actuator, 1 from the turbo boost pipe and then a 3rd which is blnked off on mine, is this right, or where should it go.

Sounds like you have a 3 port solenoid converted to run a 2 port setup. No problem if the car is either standard or mapped for this setup.

on the standard set up the bottom pipe should be venting to the air intake..
if the resonator box on the intake just before the elbow to the turbo is no longer fitted then you can vent the pipe to atmos but it should have a restrictor in it.. you might find someone has removed the restrictor hence the problem and blocked it to stop it over boosting?
