Default exhaust

hey folks, got a wee xmas bonus and going to be selfish and spend it on my new 02 sti type uk

wanting to release a few horses and get a slightly louder noise off the exhaust, not wanting to change the backbox coz i like the sti one that is already on it, also dont want to have to change cats etc come m.o.t time.

so what is best to buy, sports cats?custom made centre section etc.....

i have about £300 to spend on exhaust coz ive just put a deposit down on a new jetbike

any help much appreciated

stainless steel 2nd cat replacement pipe and centre section from to fast to cool on ebay cost you about £150 tops give you about 10 bhp and scooby burble.

i would get rid of the back box as they are restrictive and quiet , tsl group n pick one up for about £100 sound mint !!

Try Revolution.eu for catted down pipe @ £299 IIRC will pass MOT on it's own, so no 2nd cat.
Engine spools-up much quicker than std, and change b.box to improve gas flow.

P.S. Same mods same car, ( got mine from TSL, at vast expense, now 3 years old ), and runs a bit rich due to lack of re-map.... but next up is CAI from APS and a new uprated fuel pump, then finally a re-map.

P.P.S. I didn't think I needed a re-map, but it helps reduce fuel consumption apparently, LOL.
