Has anyone retrofitted aircon to a MY00 UK turbo and experienced any problems with the running of it? Like has it been detrimental to the running and health of the engine? Mine has a different turbo and i just have concerns about how fitting aircon and messing around may affect it.

Did it to my MY99 (running VF35) and have had no problems.
How do you mean detrimental to the running and health of your engine? Does your car run different or something????

 

No. I just dont like messing with things too much but i would like aircon for next summer.

i had concerns about whether everythign would run ok together.
