That is an early ScoobyECU, and that is my handwriting!

It can be remapped so to speak, but what you have is a general "universal" chip.

I would wonder about "overfuelling" because that covers a multitude of sins, only a few of which are covered by the ECU.

It can but probably not worth it for those minor mods.
The generic map takes this into account and can generally run with or without a decat. It will work best with the decat though.
i.e it's setup to run with a decat and filter, but will work with a standard cat pipe, although boost may be slightly lower with the cat pipe in place.

Sorry to hijack this but my car has the same ECU and lot's of mod's has done various trackdays and survived
Im thinking about a FMIC and upping the boost would this ECU be able to cope ? What would the cost involved in remapping it ?

Just to clarify, I no longer touch any ScoobyECU or similar rom boards. SO no more PMs please!

Some will remap them, but for anything beyond an exhaust and a filter it is preferable to get a mappable ECU, or a different car!
