I HAVE A 97 IMPREZA UK TURBO IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN FIND OUT IF MY ECU HAS BEEN CHANGED OR CHIPPED? ALSO I HAVE GOT SOME OBX EQAUL LENGTH HEADERS THAT IM THINKING OF FITTING,SOME PEOPLE TELL ME I CAN FIT THEM WITHOUT REMAP AND OTHERS SAY I WILL NEED REMAP TO PROTECT ENGINE CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME ADVISE PLEASE?

 

open up the ecu its under the passanger footwell and look at the spar socket if there is a chip there then its chipped.
and it is best to get a remap.
