Default Cel light on.

Fitted a centre decat to a 53 plate wrx keeping the standard up pipe and down pipe and after 80 miles the cel light has come on.Tried the 5 restarts but does not want to go out.I didnt think a centre decat should make this happen car picks up much better with boost at 0.9 bar as before any ideas thanks.

what model rex is this? if this is one of the later model it could be due to your o2 sensor heating up without the cat

Its a late 2003 wrx (blobeye) are there any remedies for this apart from a remap ive read of resistors being fitted to the sensor on bugeyes but I thought this sensor told the ecu information for the correct mixture.

cel light will stay illuminated until you either 1:-remap the car or 2:-buy a cel fix but these arnt 100% accurate and the light will come on from time to time 5 stop starts only work iif the problem has been rectified
