Angry TD05-BIG16G slower than VF35?????

Please, i need some help for my situation.

I was using a VF35 until yesterday. I swapped it for a td05big16g in order to gain more HPs and torque. The surprise was that adjusting the fueling the big16 needed less fuel than the 35. It was ilogic! If you see the numbers. VF35 blows 490 CFMs and the big16g 550 CFMs??

The things is that the car is slower after the swapp. What is going on? In the garage told me that probably the orig inlet hose is too small for the big16 and i need the samco one. But, the vf35 was running well without it!! i dont know what to do.

mods. 2.5 exhaust, KyN filter, APEXI SAFC II for fuel adjust., Walbro 255. Turbo XS manual boost controller setted for 20 PSIs.

Thanks in advance!

If you see Floyds project (last few pages) he seriously regretted going from his VF35 to a TD05 16g (ie now noticeable power gains and much slower delivery..!

So much so he's now going down the twin scroll route..!

Beware of the TD05-(big)16G turbos available from certain far east vendors on ebay at the moment, they are not MHI units but some sort of copy. Some seem to go quite well, others are gutless.
I believe Turbo Dynamics had one on their balancing machine recently and it was so far out they had to shut down the balancer before it got damaged by the vibration !
I've seen the VF34's on there too but not sure if they are genuine articles or replicas as well ?

Yesterday suddenly the turbo started to make a horrible noice and didnt boost more than 1 PSI. First i thought it was the Blow off but it wasnt. The car is in the garage. They are swapping the turbo for the vf35 again. i will check it tomorrow with the specialist.

Here in Peru we cant remap the ecu. Normally we adjust the fueling with an apexi S AFC and a walbro.

thanks for your help.
