I have a 95 Import WRX and am replacing a standard downpipe with a used one. Have has a look on the net for a "How To" on replacing, but at the top of the DP where everyone else has just a heatshield I seem to have some sort of intake:

thats just a different type of heat shield found on the early ones just un bolt it and you will found the down a nd turbo under neath
