Default Brake compatibility 2.5RS / 1999 CLASSIC

Can anyone tell me if the USA version impreza 2.5 RS parts will fit the Classic impreza2000? What are the major differences?

In particular i'm looking at buying brakes and hoped they would use the same part numbers?

Depends on which parts you need i guess. The front brakes use smaller rotors. You can probably use USDM new age WRX front brake calipers and rotors fine. I believe the rear USDM 2.5RS and WRX rears will fit if you have the 1-pots. If you have the Subaru 2 pot rears they won't as the bolt spacing is different. I'd look for newage WRX parts vs classic parts. All 2.5RS' have 60k+ miles now anyway.

cheers
