Bigger intercooler undertray?!?

I ve just bought a STI 9 intercooler for a STI3 RA. can i modify my current undertray to allow more airflow or do i have to buy a STI 8/9 undertray and modify that so it fits?.... any help would be greatly appreciated....

Use the undertray that matches the TMIC or you will loose performance/cooling efficiency.
