Handbrake light on!

Default Handbrake light on!

Started up this morning and the handbrake light is still on! The handbrake is off for sure but still the light is on! Any ideas?

brake pads low ? or just the same as mine and the switch is nackard

The pads are low to be honest. Hopefully new ones will sort it out then!

Right just been out at lunch the brake level was fine, so took it for a blat and after some braking it went out! So what does that mean??!!

Its fixed

It couldve been the flowt in the brake resovoir, somtimes sticks and thinks the fluid is low

i'll keep my fingers crossed that it is!! Could it of been anything to do with the fact it was bloody cold this morning?

Mine was doing this the other day, topped up the brake fluid and all sorted now

Can't be bothered to read the posts above...if it hasn't been said already, check the brake fluid level. If it's ok give the float inside the fluid resovoir a poke, as they can get stuck and cause your problem.
