Default HKS headers cracked!

Anybody ever had this problem? I know the cheap variants of manifold are prone to it but I never expected my HKS's to let go, they have split around 2 of the 4 pipe welds at the collector.

Are they deffo genuine HKS? If they are, then that is just shocking considering the price they charge. I have a set and am now seriously worried....

Recently replaced a cheapo set off mine with a set from RCM hope these don't go the same way. I suppose that the constant heating and cooling will have some detremental effect on the metal.

Were they wrapped ? if not wrap them so when they get hit by water, they don't get a direct shock.

Aslo check your EGT's aren't too high, the biggest cause of headers cracking.

I bet your right, the car is overfueling way to much on tickover, I have a alloy sump guard protecting that area of headers but saying that everything looks pretty toasted, not sure weather its the leak or somethings been on fire!
