Default Water Injection Flow Meters

Has anyone had any experience of these?

I have water/methanol mapped to my car and want to fit one of these to check for problems in the same way I have an oil pressure gauge.

I see that ERL do a couple of types but wondered if anyone has some experience of these units?

The ERL ones are the best for you Andy, not too hard to install either.

Thanks Bob,

The 52mm one looks like it could fit in an A pillar pod out of the way, but still in view.
I was going to ask you anyway, but have you seen the 'functions' it provides? Im not sure if any of it will be useable with the way my WI is mapped?

I've got an ERL DDS 3 linked up to their digital flowmeter (also running methanol and water mapped by Bob rawle )

I've got it by my left elbow where next to the handbrake is. The display is VERY bright and wouldn't be advisabe fitted somewhere "line of sight". I must have a look at the instructions to see it it can be dimmed LOL

I've got an Aquamist 2d system and a DDS3 fitted to my 2000 Turbo.

The gauge is useful for monitoring for a blocked jet / water leak.

The display brightness can be dimmed on the junction box PCB

How big is the DDS3? Is it 52mm?


They seem to be around £165.00.

Where as the older DDS2


Is about £105.00 and I could try and remote mount the LED's.

Im glad it can be dimmed as id rather not be blinded when I drive.
