brakes problem

Default brakes problem

Hi I have been braking recent ly and been hearing a clicking nosie coming from the passenger rear, so I I thought I would investigate. I took the front of the calliper of by undoing the screws on using a 14mm wrench and taking out the 2 pins going through the pads to have a look. The pads are ok apart from the cracks on the pad which are normal. SO I cleaned everything and put it back together. Since then when I brake the pedal goes to the floor and is not as responsive as it used to be. Why would that be
