Default How easy to remove speedo on my98?

Just took my car out and the speedo is still intermitent.

However i found that when it doesnt work i simply hit the top of the dash and it starts working again.

I want to check the connections on the back of the speedo so wanted to know how easy is it to remove the dash clocks and how easy is it to do?

I havent attempted it yet but ive seen 2 screws on the dash surround.

Is there any other screws to remove after i removed the dash surround and is there anything i need to be careful with when removing the clocks?

2 screws on dash surround
3 screws holding dash in

remove gently/using common sense, should give you access to unplug the loom in the back of the dash.

the loom isnt long, so you will have to unplug it before removing the dash completely

Thanks, much appreciated.

Will unplugging the loom and then plugging it back in reset anything?
