Mechanical Oil temp sender fitment
Hmmmm
We (my mechanic and I) are having a bit of grief fitting this!! its a blitz mechanical oil temp gauge- the pressure gauge went in fine.
I bought the gauges from fleabay! the sender supplied doesnt fit in the block adaptor (different thread???)
We have bought the genuine subaru adaptor part with the thread straight through it to fit the sender in but it appears the threads dont match!!
any idea what threads they could be on both - to try and source an adaptor or get it retapped
Cheers

Some pics of the parts
Here's the original sender adaptor part that came with the blitz gauges that is too wide to go into the engine block
Here's the internal threaded sender part (that is now too thick to fit within the subaru supplied adaptor)
Here's the subaru supplied part (which is all i thought i needed!!)
I'm thinking if no adaptor available of getting an engineering firm to widen and rethread the centre through the subaru part to fit. Will this pose any dangers? i think the end of the internal sender part may poke out 1/2mm more- any problems there??
Any help appreciated
Cheers
