Default Calling all UK MY99 owners

Hey all,

Can anyone else with UK MY99 Turbo2000 confirm if they have square holes under their front bumper?

I've got an STi v6 front lip fitted to my MY00 Sport that I want to transfer over to my MY99 Turbo2000, but the 99 bumper appears to be missing the square holes that the fittings go into. Very odd imho.

Mine did but it was an MY00. Not sure if the MY99 have them.

I was stood under an MY00 Wagon in a workshop and it didn't have them.
I think it was phased in sometime in 2000. my car is a November 2000, so quite late.

Thanks for the confirmations guys, most appreciated.

Nuts! I wonder why doesnt mine then? I'm pretty sure its a genuine bumper, it certainly looks the same in every way to my MY00 bumper except the square holes.

Looks like I'll be carefully drilling my bumper and making my own fixing kit then. Sigh.

Sorry for the hijack.. but this is cos of the audience being related to the 99 model.

Does anybody have a link for a workshop manual for the GC8 99 model..??
Can't seem to find anything on the net for this.. have found workshop manuals for models up to 98, and then from the bug eye onwards but not for the GC8 99.

my "99" turbo have a sport front bumper( replaced after an accident, got it from a scrap yard)with no square holes, I had to drill a fews to put the lip on,also the undertray is different between turbo & sport.
