I have droped another engine in my UK Wagon...the replacement engine is from a 1996 import saloon....it came with an ECU....but what kind is it?

it says on the front:

U8 (in big letters)
226.11 AA810
A18-000 RJ2 (3209)

What is it.....??

U8 yes, but thats not from a 1996 Saloon. A U8 is from a 1993/1994 Saloon.
A Z4 was used from Sept 1994 to 1996.
