they look spot on, and the reading showed every coil pack reading 2 ohms .....does that sound right yeah?

A faulty coilpack may still read 2 ohms impedance - the common problem is that under the rubber shroud (which goes over the top of the plug) the ceramic cracks causing the spark to breakdown especially under boost conditions.

when the mechanic fitted them he said they were mint all over, and then when he ran the test they all read 2 ohmms, so im guessing my problem must be with either the s/plugs or the MAF? i found out y/day that the plugs arent the proper type for the impreza, so getting some new, correct ones fitted tomorrow...which im hoping will cure the problem!!
