i have sold my uk 96 impreza it has a hydra ecu, going to take it out and have it installed in my type r will the ecu from the 97 type r be sutiable for the uk car ?????

dont want to put that in and it goes bang....
help would be appreciated..

 

No it won't fit.. plugs are different for a start..

you need a phase 1 92~96 4 plug ecu.. preferably a UK version or a Z4.
