I Don't think an STi 8 fits the Pre96 cars. It's v.tight on the Pase 1 Engine with an MY00 STi cooler, which requires inlet trimming and bulkhead manipulation.

HELLO SCOTT,
I VE READ A THREAD SOMEWHERE BUT CANT FIND IT NOW , I REALISE THIS IS NOT EASY AND YOU HAVE TO CUT DOWN OUTLET(WOOPS CAPS LOCK ON) and fabricate brackets and its a tight fit (ky gel might help)
but theirs always a way i'm not sure of the dumpvalve outlet side of it yet but ive got a couple of weeks till it arrives to wise myself up on it only paid £100. for it so got to be worth a try

Yes it fits but the IACV makes it a bit hard. I have cutted the intercooler and welded a new pipe for dumpvalve BUT you dont need to do that. Simply close hole without cutting the intercooler and open a new hole from the right side of the intercooler. I think this would make the things a lot easier. It comes to my mind after fitting the intercooler so I'm late to do that =)

If I remember correctly the threads you are looking for should be in the projects forum posted by both David Wallis or Floyd.
