TSL Grp N Vs H&S Jap style angled exit.
My H&S is starting to do my head in so I'm looking for something quieter. I keep the bung in nearly all the time but it gives it a crappy farting noise which sounds rubbish.
Also, I've heard other Imprezas with a much more pronounced unequal burble and I think some of mine is lost due to the boomy nature of the BB.
I was looking at the TSL Grp N BB and wondered if anyone knew if its quieter than the H&S job.
I really like the angled exit style exhaust but I'm fed up with the noise.

The TSL GpN would be a good choice although the Prodrive box (if you can locate a good s/hand one) would probably be a tad quieter still.
At £175 the TSL box is good value and you could always take a hacksaw to the tailpipe to get the slash cut? You couldn't do this to the Prodrive box as it's got a perforated resonator section in the tailpipe itself.
It's good to see a number of people, at last seeing sense about the noise level put out by Scoobs, some are really TOO loud!
You could consider a resonator mid-section which should usefully cut cabin noise?

Also thought of the ninja exhaust. Theres a scoob local to me that has one and it doesn't sound half as loud as mine - although some on SN say this is still a loud BB.
I just want something easyto cope with day to day but retains that unequal burble.
