Question sandwhich plate?

hi ive been looking at getting at set of three gauges boost, oil temp and oil pressure. have seen a sandwich plate to connect the oil gauges to that fits between the filter and the sump. are these any good or is there a better method for connecting them?

thanks ian

can do it that way, you can also utilise the spare bung on the top of the block for the temp sensor, T in the oil pressure sensor with the oil pressure switch (or just junk the switch and stick in the pressure sensor instead) and boost obviously comes off of the inlet....

on mine i did both oil temp and pressure off the number 3 with a t block with temp sender and pipe off to pressure sender and both work perfectly and you can also keep an eye out for leaks here too as with sandwich plate its out of the way so more of a problem checking.
