sandwhich plate?
hi ive been looking at getting at set of three gauges boost,oil temp and oil pressure. have seen a sandwich plate to connect the oil gauges to that fits between the filter and the sump. are these any good or is there a better method for connecting them?

can do it that way, you can also utilise the spare bung on the top of the block for the temp sensor, T in the oil pressure sensor with the oil pressure switch (or just junk the switch and stick in the pressure sensor instead) and boost obviously comes off of the inlet....

on mine i did both oil temp and pressure off the number 3 with a t block with temp sender and pipe off to pressure sender and both work perfectly and you can also keep an eye out for leaks here too as with sandwich plate its out of the way so more of a problem checking.

has anyone got any pics of this ? im i bit of a mechanical novice but like to have a go myself will the gauges come with everything i need?
also wheres the best place to get the gauge holders from in terms of quality anf fitment, i like the centre ones but they dont seem to do them for a my94?
