Default 4 point under brace?

Spotted a couple of cusco 4 point underbraces (above) whilst surfing around, I wonderd if anyone can shed a bit more light on them and their advantages, also any experiences with them.

Cheers, Rob.

I have a Whiteline one fitted to my STi ( They all do the same ) it stiffens the lower suspension wishbone mounting points for less flex during agressive driving, I sprint / Hillclimb so I notice a slight difference.
