hey all just returned from 2 weeks in cyprus when i started the scoob up it chucked out a big cloud of smoke ,i drove round the block for a few minuits and it was running really crapy pulled over and i could here this loud ticking sound .then after an hour of worrying i started it up again and it sounds fine is this normal for a subaru when its been standing around for a while

 

my car does that do you have a after market pipe because mine fills up with water and when started it kicks it out the back, have a look if theres a load of water behind the car next time it hapens if so nothing to worry about
