Knock Sensors
keep getting a knock sensor cel so i have done a bit of investigation, i am a little miffed at the different prices
looking at GGR there is 3 diff types
GGS818 : Knock sensor WRX 9/92-
Subaru
£82.55 + VAT (£97.00)
GGS819 : Knock sensor WRX 9/96-
Subaru
£100.14 + VAT (£117.67)
GGS820 : Knock sensor WRX 9/98-
Subaru
£59.99 + VAT (£70.49)
of course mine would be the middle one thats the most expensive but the 3rd one (the cheapest) terminates in what looks like the same white plug, and there only 1 wire things by the looks of it, so what gives??
talking with one of my staff here, he told me his primera sensor was quotedat around £100 so he borrowedone fr the nissan factory destined for a micra and it was fine, can i fit the cheapest/latest sensor to my phase 1.5 MY97 wrx?

that is what i am thinking
but i cant believe the difference in price is down to the different connectors
the cheapest one, has the most extravagant lead LOL

update for this, i bought the cheapest one and the connector is exactly the same as the most expensive version (the one i removed from my MY97 car)
GGR have photographed it quite well so it looks different, but it apears it is not.
it is now sitting on my car, and not throwing any CEL codes like the old one used to do, result
