Have a UK MY99, K+N filter,soon to have full decat.

Thinking of fitting a TEK2

Do I need to upgrade anything else to cope with this

IE Turbo inlet pipes ( i think thats what he said) as this is what I have been advised, but having a read through up on TEK2 posts I cannot see that anyone else has done this.

what you have will be good enough to see difference in performance, but the more you add the more power etc you get with the map !!! as if you decide to add other bits later you will require a tweak of the map at cost to keep the car sweet

wasn't planning to do any more mods

I'ts my daily car so I just wanted to up the bhp/torque for a bit more fun

 

get a Tek 3, you will get a better overall result and I know you dont plan to do more mods, but you will, trust me..

Had scoobs for 2 & 1/2 years now and I know what I want from my motor

Been offered the Tek2 at a reasonable price, I have put a JI Backbox and a centre decat on, just waiting for the decat d/p to come then it's on with the Tek2.

Like I said, just looking for a bit more performance at an affordable cost (to me)
