Any benefit to resetting ECU after a while?
Hello again.
I have been running my MY98 Uk Turbo 2000 on optimax since I got it in May ( i don't know what the previous owner ran it on) - Now, I do not know whether it is psychological or what, but since the VPower switch, it doesn't seem to be quite as quick - I would have thought that 4-5 months of optimax should be enough to retrain the ECU regardless of what the previous owner ran it on, but was wondering if there was any benfit of a reset now that we are using VPower, or indeed if 4-5 month and 4000 miles of optimax would make a difference if the previous 70,000 miles was on normal unleaded - Or is it is a case of "if it ain't broke...."?
