Can anyone confirm whether the Version one was Closed deck or not ?

fairly random.. some are some aren't there is no other way to know other than to check.. plus the engine could have been changed seeing as the car is getting on a bit now.

check for the chequered cross hatching on the block. . same as on the heads.
