Slipping Clutch??????
The other week i was on the motorway and put my foot down but when the turbo seemed to kick in it started to free rev ? like the Clutch was slipping !!!
but the car drives fine and the clutch feels fine to?
Then today i put my foot down once again just to see if it was but this time it was fine no free reving what so ever ???
Can anyone shed some light as to why this is!
Thanks John.

Could be early signs of a worn clutch.
If its a standard car, look for a standard replacement exedy clutch these are very good.
Should cost around £120-130 from a motor factors and are found badged up as LuK clutches and Borg & Beck Clutches (not sure if these exist anymore) aswell as in their own Exedy boxes.
Just make sure exedy is ingraved on the clutch cover and exedy is printed on the friction plate.

i dont tend to leather it but some d!ck in a new shape astra gsi thaught he could have a go! but still had him and my clutch was slipping!
its not long ago since i put a prodrive ecu on and havnt realy booted it until the above.
it was on the rollers at prosport and it was knocking out 265bhp and 272 pounds of torque so maybe the standard clutch isnt good enough?
but like you say i have drove it around normaly since i booted it and it seems o.k?
