Boost valve relocation
Hi,
The boost valve on my 93 wrx is located on the drivers side of the engine bay on the suspesion. But because it sits so high up im unable to sheet in my induction kit. Is it possible to relocate the valve? Should i be careful where its moved to i.e is it tempremental with high temp?
Thanks
Drew

Induction kits..........Emmmmm. Just my oppinion mate. Unless you are running real big power gains and i'm talking near 400 bhp then the normal panel filter system is by far the best system to run. After all panel filters already have there own heat shield if you like keeping heat soak and the possabilitys of detonation kept at bay. You want an induction kit then it will pay you to have a cold feed system. The power gains to be had from induction kits just sat under the bonnet with no heat shield or cold feeds will be very small indeed. Although panel filters like the Green cotton only offer very small pwr gains they are gains none the less. Also induction kits can and have caused havack with maf sensors so imo a little thought is required prior to installing such a system.
Like i say mate this just my oppinion i'm sure many would beg to differ on this one however. We'll see.

Hi,
I know what u mean but as im running a fmic and alot of other mods i had to change to a induction kit and the pipes for the fmic are where the orginal box should be.
Can anyone tell me if its ok to move the boost valve?
