hi,is optimax the only fuel imports can run on safely or would normal petrol do with octane booster mixed?
the reason for asking is because my local shell garage is closing and then the nearest shell garage is 7 miles away

 

You got a tesco nearby? - They do 99RON.

 

I've got a Tesco's nearby (4 miles away) that does 99. But if I drive 10 miles up the road I can get it for 3 a litre less. Either way I've got to drive - that's the price I pay for driving an import.

Not called anything special just have a look on the pumps use it in my import (93 wrx) and it runs just fine

 

There's usually three pumps, black for diesel, two greens, one with a white 95 in a green circle, one with a green 99 in a white circle.
