Default Crankshaft/main bearing/tappets

Just had the a new crankshaft put in,and two pistons/con rod arms/main bearing etc, just wanted to know if this work was done properly if I'd still have the tappets making a god awful noise??

If you had niosy tappets before and they have not done anything with them then you will still have them now.

They are at the top end of the engine, if they just bolted the heads on to your rebuilt bottom end without checking them / grinding valves in etc then IMHO its not a very good rebuild.
