This is the fault that my newage was showing.
The Exhaust was blowing and has been repaired but a mobile mechanic chap had a computer thingy that found the fault as P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1) - so any ideas - although the 'engine light' has now gone off -

Hi mate,

I had the same intermittent problem (P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)) on my WR1, the check engine light kept coming on every few weeks.
It took Subaru months to find the fault. In the end they changed the lamda sensor and it has been ok ever since.
