Default sti inlet manifold

can any one tell me if a 97/98 sti inlet manifold will fit my my99 uk turbo basically i want to know if it is a straight swap and will i get any gains from fitting it ?

Nope. Different stud patterns and the MY97/98 (Phase 1.5) manifold has shorter runners IIRC.

Phase 1 and Phase 1.5 are interchangeable. Phase 2 you're stuck with it unless you spend big bucks or get creative.

also nothing special about the STi one other than the red paint on the classics anyway...
