fitting up pipe
thinking of fitting de-cat up pipe to my04 WRX, will there be any cel light issues with the egt sensor? is it worth doing in the first place? already de-catted the centre pipe and I am going to de-cat the down pipe aswell soon, will there be any running problems or will it be ok until funds available for re-map?
cheers

Hello lee
I,m currently waiting for my up-pipe to arrive so id be interested in the answer to this question as well, I,ll be putting mine into prosport to get it fitted though i think. I got my down pipe de-catted and fitted there and i had to get my sensor sorted cos the ECU light came on and stayed on. Where you thinking of going for your re-map mate?

Lee,
Most the information you need is here - http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/CELFix. My site is a little biased to electronic CEL fixes because this is the preferred method - simply disable the relevant codes and that's it. If you are not familiar with this method then either find someone who has the kit to reflash ECU's or find a mechanical option.
If you go the mechanical route let me know what you find out and I'll beef up my web pages for people going down this route.
