fitting mbc
going to fit manual boost controller,i have fuel cut defender fitted and a z4 ecu (94 wrx) only going to set mbc to 1 bar! just wanted to know if i should bypass soloniod or plumb mbc inline? cheers..
You will need to disconnect the pipework to the solenoid but leave it electrically connected or else the ECU will 'throw' a CEL. You need to plumb a pipe to the Compressor cover outlet 'nipple' connect this to the MBC then the other side of the MBC to the Actuator on the turbo.
When raising the boost it would be wise to fit a knocklink to monitor for DET and also to have the fuelling checked with a wideband
Cheers
