Hi,

Currently i have a 1993 wrx import with the following mods.

apexi power fc + commander mapped by andy f
decat pipe
apexi power intake
fmic
440cc injectors

will it benifit me if i fit headers and an up pipe. and will i need to get the car mapped again or will they be a straight replacement.

they will certainly help spool up, a set of Harveys option 2 headers and up pipe would work very well, it would be worth getting it remapped as well to take advantage of this new mod

 

Will they give me a problems if i just go ahead and fit them?

I also have the Harvey smith ported headers on my 98 , and its one of the best mods i had done , so much better spool up, mine was mapped when they were fitted by Andy F, so i would advise getting your mapped tweaked when fitted to get the best results

 

I live in northern ireland so it will be a while before im back in scotland for a remap so should i hold of fitting them? Also has anyone had any problems with them.

you can fit them on a standard car with no other mods and not have any problems at all. Your car will still work fine (if not better) with them on
You dont need to remap for them, but, if you are going to remap at some time then put them on before you do.
