Default fluttering turbo ?

car - uk 53 reg sti

problem - when accelerating on boost (in 6th gear only) i can hear a slight fluttering sound that appears to be coming from the turbo. i have a free flow panel filter and removed the resonator box and wonder is this normal or have i just begun to notice the noise due to mods.

the car seems to perform well although i am looking to remap soon.

I think you would be better to put your resonator back on, certainly until it is ready for remap.

You have a VF35 turbo, very prone to this, even with the resonator in its still doing it, you just can't hear it thats all.

cheers
