Default Popping and power loss

Hello Guys / Gals

I've recently had fitted to my95 wrx turbo a full stainless steel decat exhaust
(mongoose)

Now under acceleration when i change gear it pops like hell also when in third / fourth gear under heavy acceleration in judders like it wants to stall but won't

Someone said it may need re-mapping as it may be over fueling but as far as i'm aware you can't remap a classic 95 import!! or can you

What is my best option to do to stop it doing this?

its running on bp ultimate no other engine mods apart from uprated panel filter

Thanks
Craig

You can't map the ECU via Ecutek, no, but some companies can offer a mapping service on older classics I believe, I think Scooby Clinic is one of them. Alternatively, you'd need an aftermarket ECU and mapping, e.g. Apexi Power FC. Your fueling is most likey shot to poo cause of the mods. BP ultimate won't help either; Scoobies don't seem to like it. Give optimax a go and drive gently untill you can get the ECU seen to.

i reset my ecu by disconnecting the battery and securely join the two leads together, this will drain every last bit of power out of the capaciters in the ecu after about! 20ish mins, the scooby ecus have good reports about them but thats if you can get your hand on one.

Ive heard good things about them and want one myself.
They come mapped as far as i know but can be remapped at any stage aswell
I reset the ECU connecting the wires underneath steering colume, do a search for the exact way of doing it.
