Question Is this normal?

ive got a ten year old scoob with 70k on the clock......runs fine - no smoke rattles etc.
there is however a bit of oil around the connection between the intercooler and the inlet......the clip was a bit loose
there is also a bit of oil on the pipe circled below........is it something i should be concerned about? is it a engine breather pipe?
its always been there but ive not had the car all that long though.
thanks in advance.bds.

Its quite common that there might be abit oil around that area, maybe the car was previously bit overfilled with oil, if that is the case it might have gotten in to hoses etc.

i wouldnt worry about it if the car seems fine otherwise, sometimes over filling can deposit oil residue in boost solonoid giving problems with boost
