Default Smoking VF35

Just fitted a vf35 turbo to my my00, i know it needs remaping, prob is when i start it the turbo seems to get really really hot and starts smoking , ive checked oil feeds and water feeds,

the turbo was meant to come from a low milage car in good condition,

what we looking at turbo seals?
turbo not sealing properly?

any help would be great, Got mapping session booked for monday

Check the oil drain pipe pointing down isn't either kinked and stopping oil running away or its not properly seated onto the drain pipe.

just check top and bottom water hoses,

the turbo is getting seriously hot, and nows theres a knocking for the inlet manifold / throttle body

The pipe can be pushed back into position without taking the turbo off, but its fiddly.
The knocking could be much more worrying. I'd get the car into a specialist to have a look.
