Default wire

Hi got engine back in after changing head gaskets, putting everything back in and there is a wire with a round object with a hole though the middle next to the bell housing attached to the loom that is above where the flywheel does any one know where this goes?
I have a pic but don't know how to add them.

i do yes but hard to explain if you dont find out by tommorrow i will email you a pic has to go in a certain direction i believe .. and its deffo the knock sensor ... if you get stuck pm me.. it goes slightly off centre near bell housing , where your crank case breather is on the right it.... it goes on the left side of the engine and wire points towards the clutch arm ... fixed with its own bolt a twelve mill ...gazza
