Had my engine rebuilt late last year, would they have decompressed the air con system when they took the engine out? Light comes on on the dash and I've checked all the fuses and connectors but no cold air. Is it just a simple regas or is there some other problem. I my last subaru, the air con didn't work either but the revs dropped when you turned it on. In my car now the revs just stay the same.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes they would of emptied the system when removing the engine, You'll need to get it recharged.
