If you have access to a welder just as easy to make one as i did , some round bar to fit in locating holes and some sturdy angle iron is what i used .

Yep, I did the same. Two old bolts through a bit of flat bar & tacked into place with a little brace to stop em bending. To buy the proper tool I would imagine you would have to go subaru and that'l be big bucks!

how did you do the head gaskets and put it back together with the crank pully on just use a windy gun to remove the 22mm bolt for the crank pully if this is not possibe use a breaker bar with a 22mm socket ob and hit it with a big hammer to shock it off

I have not changed the head yet as can't remove the crank pulley, due to the engine being out the car obviously split from box so when you try to remove the bolt the crank turns with it.
Has anyone got any pics of the tools they made and I will make one up.
Thanks

engine on floor or bench, 2 bolts through flywheel, possible location, clutch mounting point, 1 strongarm through bolts, wedge to floor, someone on top to stop block lifting and undo pulley bolt, either that or an air gun if you have one
