hi my 1995 import makes a funny noise

when the engine is at low revs the is a funny ticking noise (sounds like ballbearing falling on sheet metal but fast)

and when the engine is switched off i can still hear it, for a few seconds

also the is lots of smock coming out of the exhaust.


would i be safe to say that it is the turbo that has gone?

 

Yes sounds like turbo..

 

cheers bud that kinda put my mind at ease a bit, as its just had a new engine rebuild. lol

 

possibly damaged when the engine went..
