Default Sti heads

Would MY04 Sti heads fit on my classic engine? I have to reomove a broken spark plug and have seen some Sti heads for sale, would i be able to just fit these instead?

The heads will physically fit, but they won't be a lot of use as the later STi heads have VVT

I have wondered about this before, what would you need to do to get the VVT to work on a classic? Newage ECU?? Has anybody done it?

I guess it would be too difficult to control the variable cam timing servos without using a newage ecu and wiring and probably various complications? Someone please prove me wrong.
So you may have to physically fix the cam timing. The question is, what setting would you fix it at, again I would guess max power which would probably lose some bottom end and fuel economy but what the hell...........
