Default Pipe lengths

Is it critical how long the pipes are for the wastegate actuator/solenoid?
I had a split in the one going to solenoid i managed to cut the pipe shorter and just wondered if it would cause any problems (car is my02wrx)

Cheers

It's not a major thing. A bit longer or shorter doesn't matter. Shorter only matters if it's going to strain it when the engine moves, or if it ends up having to make sharp bends because it's so tight.

Cheers pal. I reckon it's about 2 inch shorter. I also removed the little plastic joint piece that sits on the id of the pipe. Seems to pull better now
