decat downpipe question

gonna buy a 3" straight through downpipe but i need to know if it will fit to a standard 2.5" centre section on my94 wrx

to join to a 2.5" centre ull be wanting a 3inch tapering down to a 2.5inch.. a 3inch all the way wont fit.
