ok got 3 q's about the catch can

1) is it worth fitting one?
2) where does it fit,in what breather hose do i fit one
3) is it just an empty can with 2 pipes one in and one out or is there more to it (ie can i make it myself)

do i just t the 2 cam vents together and into the tank and the crank vent itno the tank then vent to atmos and block off the holes in the intake pipe??
